Beautiful story! Instruments seem to bring out the best in AU PeinKonan fics, with the fact that they don't seem to be the type to talk. The emotions played together wonderfully with the two and I love the way they still had their characteristics from the orignal universe.

My favorite part had to be when Pein have Konan his gift. Simple, but meaningful to their relationship. It being turned into a flower really hit me.

I can fully understand the beauty and wonder that an instrument can bring out. Particularly with the instrument that can go so well with a piano: Flute. Pretty sounds can go from docile to furious, but the its companion has much more freedom to express itself.

Kudos to you, with the most descriptive and meaningful PeinKonan story, of course.

I've always longed to listen to music like that... but the only person I know that can do that doesn't play in front of me, I could only hear him at school.

That...was beautiful. I too play piano, and I'm so happy to have found this Fanfiction. When I read about a pairing, I always love to read about the ones that have to do with instruments. I think it has something to do with the fact that most of the time, amature writers don't choose something so tricky to write about. I just discovered PeinxKonan, and so far I'm liking it. Thanks for this amazing fanfiction.

Another amazing piece of fiction from a well-liked, well-talented author. This really puts a lot of other stories to shame. Descriptions really seem to be your forte. This story seemed to weave and blend like a piece of music, letting the subtleties weave the story rather than the dialogue. If it weren't for the piano music I am listening to right now, I probably wouldn't be able to grasp the true feelings in this piece of writing.

It was absolutely lovely. I think I loved the fireworks part the most. Konan's reply of liking the fireworks more than the cliched saying just had that hint of humour that this story sorely needed. It was a way of saying that yes, although the music did indeed connect them to one another, it was the small fragments of conversation between the two of them that truly showed that they were human. Sadly, I didn't enjoy the piercings scene that much. The catharsis felt a bit shallow to me, like you wanted to add importance to everything Kishimoto introduced with these characters (like the piercings and the paper flower on Konan's head). I don't know, but I guess sometimes, it's okay to follow your own path when you write, but I guess I shouldn't be saying that. It's your writing, of course.

Like the tempo and beat of a song, this story flowed, pausing, quickening, beating sharply, fading softly, and then the cycle continues on and on. Such is the story of Pain and Konan.

It was so great i was make my own but im thinking about making one too (pein and konan)but i think mines r too discreptive.

But make more i love this story and...and ...i think im going to die if u stop writing fan-fics so... make more konan and pein (sorry fan of the couple) storys! hope u write more!

It's so nice to finally have yet another piece to put into archive. *sighs blissfully* It's really gorgeous, and there's not much more I can say? Characterization is spot-on, I love the way you seamlessly place their characters into an AU environment with a seemingly random theme.

Everything about this piece just screams "BEAUTIFUL, LOVE ME, FAVE ME! Read me forever and ever and ever!" In bold and underlined letters, mind you. Beautiful piece of work as per usual and kudos to writing such a wonderful story.
