Very nice! Way too short! This is one of the few fics where some danger enters and the writer is able to stay so close to the characters. Great Fic.

This is totally in character, House being an ass but staying to protect Cuddy.

I really like the way you portray Cuddy. You give her vulnerability without making her completely weak and helpless. It's not something a lot of writers are able to do, so props to you for conveying that!

This story was awesome. It's a very rare spectacle to have hostage stories in character, but you pulled this one off very nicely! Good work!

Extremely disappointing. I mean, ussually you put out decent stuff, but this didnt even make sense.

This should never have been posted without more details- for example, tell us what the hell happened when Casey grabbed the gun? What were Casey's presenting symptoms anyway? Oh and you keep refering to "the wound" Casey inflicted on the officer, but you never even said where he was shot! Casey's expectations are dumb- a regular old plane ticket wont do him any good, because he'd just be rearrested. If he's a convicted murdered whose ex doesnt let him talk to his son, why does his son still call him dad all the time? And he thinks he can just ask for Money and give it to his kid? yeah right, they'd take it right back.

One brilliant line in here though, when House asks Cuddy if she has Stockholm syndrome already.

great story! Love the suspense fics where people manage to keep House in Character and you did that perfectly.

One question, Who killed the guy? I was originally thinking that Cuddy managed to get the gun away and blow his brains out but on a second read through I think it was the swat team?

Awe, pokeitlikejello I loved your short story. It was full of action, suspense, and a little humor. I think you did an excellent job with the dialouge. I have difficulty writing lines for House sometimes. Its hard to get the right amount of jokes and crasness AND witty! So kudos to you and your fine tale. Good story, although it was a little short for me. I think it would have been cooler to not have had the guy shot and murdered so soon. It definitely would have been awesome to have had Casey get what he wanted and use Cuddy as a sheild to get on his plane. Eh, but what do I know? There are times that I want to see the bad guy get a little.
