Divinara chapter 1 . 3/29/2013 Just favoriting another story that I found on FanPop. You're amazing! - Becca |
Nadine chapter 1 . 3/7/2013 I always hoped she would come to know Jesus AKA Aslan in our world. :) |
Astreiks chapter 1 . 6/29/2009 Good job! |
claire henry chapter 1 . 7/24/2008 I've already reviewed, but I could help stating that this oneshot could almost be consided a prequel to your story "Phyllis" even though I know its a standalone oneshot. |
Starsy Skye chapter 1 . 7/10/2008 M...this is like a breath of fresh air. Nicely done! It makes me want to call, "Group hug!" (Which, I assure you, is very unusual.) I found this through your mother's review of In Search of the King, which I found through reading elecktrum's When We Were Kings. I read your profile (all of it) and found myself agreeing, nodding, smiling, laughing, and pitying the Sue authors who dare to read it! :P Way to go, sista! I am one of the kids (and I hope there are many) who grew up living and breathing Narnia. I can't remember a time I didn't know about Narnia! And as such I am very selective when it comes to fanfiction. (Though I'm not nearly so brave and verbal about it! :D) Anyway, about this fic, I liked it! A little short, but it gets the point across very well. :) Keep it up! ~Starsy Skye |
thisisasecretnow chapter 1 . 7/4/2008 Rather short, but I still like it. It makes everything we learn about Susan in The Last Battle fall into place. (This is a bit off topic, but I noticed the mention of Caspian in here. I can't BELIEVE what they did to the movie at the end. Hollywood had to go and screw things up with their obsession with romance. GRR. Why can't scriptwriters learn that we want to see Narnia as C. S. Lewis wrote it? -Rant over-) ANYWAY, this is a very nice little piece. Good job. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ -The Stupid Crazy Insane Idiotic Weirdo known as Tassel630 -Please don't respond to this review- |
Elanor Joy chapter 1 . 6/29/2008 Your mother recommended this. I'm quite glad she did. It was far too short in my opinion, but it answered everything quite nicely and you certainly didn't beat around the bush, which I appreciate. You gave Susan everything I'd hoped for her and more. I love the fact that you gave her a husband and babies! thanks for posting this and God bless! Elanor |
bean chapter 1 . 6/25/2008 That was amazing! I always thought this was what would happen to Susan (or something generally like this) because I could never forget the line "once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia." And when we get saved we can never loose our salvation, even if we backslide and get away from God for a little while. I've read several fanfictions for "what happened to susan" but this is definitely my favorite, you did a really good job! God bless! |
Shealtiel chapter 1 . 6/13/2008 This is what I always wished to happen. |
Inactive1357 chapter 1 . 1/30/2008 Aw! That's so sweet... and that's the way it's meant to be :) I never really thought of Susan-redemptive fics in that way - having someone besides Susan or Aslan help heal her. But come to think of it, it's really other people that can make the difference - or at least make it permanent. |
Alice-in-french chapter 1 . 1/26/2008 Wonderful! A great follow-up would be to write a "story story" about how all this happened. Just a suggestion. God Bless, Ara |
claire henry chapter 1 . 1/25/2008 AWW I loved this oneshot so much. because I love the fact that Susan does remeber who she was and who Aslan was and the fact that susan had find out who Aslan was in her world away from Narnia, and the fact that she was able put away the pain and grief that she felt when her siblings died, and was able to move on with her life and get married and have children was beautiful. |
Miniver chapter 1 . 1/25/2008 You do a great job of taking Susan beyond that unsatisfying description at the end of Last Battle. You know I love Lewis, but he was not known for his grasp of the psyches of adolescent girls, and I do not feel that his final reference to Susan was his best literary moment. Thus I'm always thrilled when a writer figures out a way around "no longer a friend of Narnia." I love that you turned her "banishment" into something positive; in fact your point about how Aslan was "commissioning me to see that my world has a Deeper Magic of its own..." is my favorite part of your story and what I've always believed took place. Good going! Hope you write more soon. |
floppyearsthebunny chapter 1 . 1/25/2008 Lovely. Best one, I've read so far. |
Dana Skywalker chapter 1 . 1/25/2008 DH, this was great! I loved seeing how Susan found her way again even after straying from Narnia. Very hopeful message here! Nice job! Dana |
