Actually there is nothing wrong by going to dinner with a friend even if you are married but for lily this is not the right time to do such a thing. Lily seem to only marry James in this story only as a temporary stage. She was second guessing herself and willing to do what she must to give her true happiness. Obviously that she wasn't completely in love with James since she probably had a crush on Severus before they had a big fight. By the time James proposed to her she used that chance to try to forget the person she had some relation to. After some time married to James she found her life is not satisfactory and founding herself in a dream like state wonder "What If" scenarios.

I have to ask how come Lily get to leave the place but not James? If all three are hiding from Voldemort shouldn't lily not leaving the house as much. In the story it said Voldemort is only after James and Harry. Did Lily never defy Voldemort three times like James?

I guess lily is still immature during this stage. Since she is a newlywed she still young enough to not understand how life works. She may appear mature but not completely mature as a wise adult.

I seem to be having a little bit of trouble reading chapter four of this fic. Every time I try to click the arrow to get to chapter four I end up at the Power Rangers main page, weird right? Well I just thought that you should know.
