this story was the first fanfic that i truly loved. despite that, however, when i am re-reading fics that are in my favorites i tend to skip this one. it's not because of it's length or it's quality, both are exceptional, but because it is emotionally taxing. this takes a lot from you - it gives back, but it's difficult to read. today, though, i felt the need to read it again. it's as amazing as i remember it being. this piece is full of melancholy and horror and these quiet, beautiful moments. the skill with which this was written is... i don't have the appropriate words or phrases, but you are talented and this is lovely and i'm so glad that huddy is one of your fandoms. i will certainly immerse myself in these waters in future and i'm glad that i did today.
