I have an idea for a long, multichapter fic. Anyone can use this idea or a variation of it, I just want to see it.

It would start with Ruby waking up one fine morning, except...this isn’t her bed...these aren’t her clothes...THIS ISN’T her house! And WHERE is everybody!? Attempting to go outside, she finds herself in an unfamiliar isolated location, and screams out for her friends!

Cut to the Gloom Cast having a normal morning. Except Iris notices Ruby hasn’t woken up yet, and with a hop skip and a jump goes to wake her up. When she stirs, her eyes widen with concern, and, in a cynical and unRuby like tone, asks a simple question. “Who are you and how did you get in my house?” Iris is both confused and concerned, and this worsens when “Ruby” claims this isn’t her room, and doesn’t recognize their friends, claiming she lives alone.

For those who haven’t picked up on it, OUR Ruby(from the show) has swapped minds with the Classic 2004 Ruby used on the early hot topic merch, and the old 2004 website. The Ruby who wears a skirt, high heels, and stockings(? I think) instead of the normal pants and small boots. The Ruby who, while happy on the inside, never smiles or outwardly expresses it. The Ruby who’s slightly older. The Ruby who loves to make morbid death jokes(similar to what Misery makes). The Ruby who lives alone, in a small and decreped mansion, with only normal non sentient crows for company. The Ruby who has a normal bike instead of a Chaplin bike. The Ruby who’s complex and not understood.

I’ve always wanted more fics revolving around this older, slightly darker depiction of Ruby from before the show, a very much different persona. What better way to do that then to swap their bodies and put them in each other’s bodies!

The fic would have two main plots. Classic Ruby reacting to the world of the show(Classic Ruby wasn’t heavily connected to the Supernatural, other then a few haunted gargoyles) as the rest of the cast tries and fails to “Fix Ruby”, trying to jog her memory, get her baking, singing, ANYTHING. This doesn’t work, as they’re different people, and Classic Ruby grows to take a liking to Misery, the two sharing a love of morbid jokes and never smilingis. .

Meanwhile, our Ruby has to deal with being completely on her own, with no company whatsoever in the creepy halls Classic called home. Not even the crows talk!(Crows don’t talk in classic land) and the cliffs make gettting anywhere else difficult.

I’m not sure how you’d end it, lots of options exist, just DONT rush it and don’t do anything overly complicated. This is meant to be character driven and long.v

I might be willing. But I already picked up a fic somebody quit on. I came up with names for Jessica’s relatives (Sophia) oldest younger sister (Parker) little brother (Violet) youngest sister (Angie) mom (Gary) dad (Dixie) dog

I love the story already! Hope Jessie goes to Gloomsvile!

-Jessica makes Misery a snack and tries to find out more about Gloomsville
-you give her siblings names
-Jessica accompanies Misery back to Gloomsville for her adventure
-Meets the rest of the Gloomsville gang
-learns something, says goodbye, goes home to her family, she will see them again

This is well written, and EVERYTHING! I love it! :-)

Aaaah. Yes. Wonderful. The imagery, the olfagery (I believe that is a real word, meaning smell) Yes. I won't be spilling my milk anymore (can't help it! I quote what I see!). Now thar my comedy thing is done, whyhs it taken you SO LONG TO UPDATE! Come on. Up up up. Get back to typing. We all want to hear the rest. This is the story that really got me into writing Ruby Gloom stories. So sit own and type until we have a full story. I will be waiting. And pestering you every once in a while, if you don't listen.

Well Misery's off to a good start isn't she? First caught in forest, then the rain and now she bumped her head when meeting Jessica's family. But as she said "You get used to it" that I can believe.

Anyway you've done pretty good so far I hope you update again soon, I'm dying to find out how Misery got where she is, was it due to something she did? Update again soon won't you? Later!

Anyway just HOW did Misery end up in the forest like that? I know she has bad luck but that can't have been the cause can it? *Shrugs* Ah well...we'll find out sooner or later let's see how Misery copes in this world. Next chapter!
