Okay, so I just started rewatching Buffy for the first time in probably 15 years and because of it I decided to go back through my old saved Buffyverse fanfics which led me to rereading this.

And I'd forgotten how much A) I shipped Buffy and Angel, B) I'd loved the fandom, and C) it pissed me off that Joss just had Angel be like 'Buffy's back from the dead, cool story bro' and just continue on. So you writing this AU has me yet again going 'oh shit this is totally what I wanted!' many years later and just thanks so much for that.

You may get more reviews as I go through this because I'm loving rediscovering the Buffyverse.

Also, I adore Spike and Cordy's interactions and I'm so glad I don't have to deal with Angel/Cordy. I hated that plot.

because i am a big fan of mythology, this was also the reason why i love BtVS and AtS. I'm glad u added The Furies...I've also thought of the 'what if' scenario where Buffy meets 'some' of those women whom Angel met b4 her...or how she reacts towards other women who also want Angel in the present time...she may feel insecure and jealous BUT Angel will always reassure her!

wow, this was a weird Fred u got! lol! But on AtS season 5, I thought Spike did like Fred in a way since she probably reminded him of Dru so this chappie was cool!

i love ur AN's! Thanks for sharing those tidbits ;) ...but I think people have seen a kind of chemistry between Spike and Cordy...and many years later, in the tv series 'Supernatural'...Spike and Cordy are given new lives as 800-900 year old warlock and witch husband and wife!

i noticed that Xander and Cordy had the same feelings about Buffy and Angel being together...lol...their relationship may not have worked out but they still have the same opinions about things...

Cordy's not my fave character but her attitude is kinda hilarious to watch! She also has been one of Angel's fans since high school. In a way, i think Cordy here is a bit ooc but this was not a bashing thing. Anyway, I love this fic!
