I myself am anemic,had to take iron pills...and vit C,also a vegan,there were complications when I was younger,kidney,etc.

I think this might be the first Torchwood fic I've ever seen that deals with the fact that Ianto couldn't possibly hope to just cut meat out of his diet and not suffer some consequences, especially given the way the team tends to eat. You hit most of the important dietary issues that vegetarians need to consider, and did it in a fun way with everyone in character. Great job!

I loved this story and came across it again tonight (having seen you are posting new stuff which I haven't read yet but so intend to!). Can't believe I didn't review it and say "yea". Ah, Owen!

What a well written and complex story ark. I felt that the Characters developed properly from the tv series and that you captured the essance of the team.

Great job and good vocabulary. The dialog was fresh and not over rehersed.

At first, my ire began to raise with what looked like a 'vegetarian diet isn't healthy' line of bullshit. But you soothed that by making sure to point out that Ianto was being a 'junk food vegetarian'. You know, with episodes like 'Countycide' and the upcoming episode 'Meat', it's almost as if the creators of 'Torchwood' are trying to turn everyone vegetarian.

Ianto going veg makes a lot of sense to me. For a lot of reasons, not the least of which his being treated like a potential meal...

...did you know that human flesh and pork are supposed to taste almost exactly the same?
