I've read this so many times and I'm still not sure what to say about it. It's so very good and dark and beautifully written, it's got a unique flow and style, like all your stuff I've read so far.

You are able to fit so much into one single sentence: the character, the action and the tone and just every little detail that gets me.

"- sat in the back of a squad car, delighting the officers with his extensive range of cop related jokes." And that's just one of these details. Axel's personality and mood and Roxas's job. It's all in there.

And Roxas takes the matter into his hands. So very sexy it makes the hair in the back of my neck stand. Sorta creepy and dirty, but wonderful. So many times I've read sex scenes that just seem mechanical and repetitive, but this is special. The combination of violence and odd kind of terderness. Bottoming from top. Thumbs up.
