Another very well-written story. I'll admit I was interested to see how well you would do with a completely original plot (albeit with bits and pieces of plotlines from the series, but I think you know what I mean), and it was just as great, if not better. Everyone was very in-character, and it was nice to see Tikal play such a large role in the story. There were times when I wasn't sure if you were implying romantic feelings between Knuckles and Tikal or Knuckles and Rouge or even Shadow and Rouge, but maybe it's best that you didn't elaborate on that too much. It was also nice to see Knuckles develop a camraderie with Shadow, a character he doesn't usually encounter much, but yet I feel has many similarities with. Anyway, an excellent story. Good luck with your future works!

Is this the end? It doesn't really feel complete to me for some reason...

Regardless if this is actually the end or not, this chapter was a nice, lovely read. The scene where the three Chaos grouped together was magnificent. Seeing the three embodiments of power joining their hands together gave me a sense of worry, yet curiousity. It was sweet when Knuckles relised Tikal's hand was grasped in his own. It was also sweet of him to shield her from the water. Shadow's last words make me feel he may be influenced by a certain blue hedgehog just a little bit, and that wink he gaves helps me to believe it. It is nice to see him joke around all friendly like without him sounding to creepy while doing so.

I enjoyed the presence of Tikal and her amusing personality. I also enjoyed Shadow's friendliness towards her. He's portrayed with a uncarrying personality too often, that we hardly ever see a different side of him.

The Chronos Rock was described so beautifully. It sounds like a magnificent piece of stone.

Oh yeah! Great fight scene between Knux and Fang. It was pretty intense!

It seems Knuckles' goal is getter much closer. I hope we see more antagonizing characters attempting to halt Knuckles' efforts.

Another enjoyable chapter. I liked Knuckles' skillfulness on penetrating the stone wall. I guess its just nice to see him pull off a great feat.

And is there anything that doesn't make Shadow frown?

Personally, seeing Knuckles become angered so quickly was a bit of an annoyance. I'm tired of him getting bent out of shape like that.

Besides that, the rest of the story was pleasantly humorous. Some of Shadow's lines and actions were funny. Tikal was quite humorous as well. Seeing her in her lightball form tackling Knuckles was funny, and a bit cute in a strange sort of way. The plain/plane conversation was pretty funny to.

Knuckles and Shadow teaming up is something I've always enjoyed. The two seem to be a powerful force together. Shad's brain and Knux brawn are two assets that I feel would be a great combination. I hope we see these two together for a fair amount of time.

Well this can't end well for Fang. After all, he can't actually use Tikal as a hostage because she's a ghost and therefore (I think?) can't be harmed by his bullets. Even cutting it up won't help him since Knuckles can find the pieces. Actually, I've always wondered why Tikal doesn't use her ability to induce visions of the past offensively, to keep the bad guys standing around daydreaming.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting this. Not a bad twist actually, especially since Fang is the thief. I hope the two have a show down, so Knuckles can beat the tar outta him!

Heh, Sonic's little story telling was quite entertaining it seems. I don't know how he can handle all that attention. Just speaking to people I don't know, let alone large groups, terrifies me.

Talk about a bad way to make a reunion. I can tell it won't be easy to calm a temper like Blaze's down.

Glad to see Sonic make his appearance. His presence brings a humorous vibe with it, which I happily welcome.

Great, we get to hear from familiar faces soon! Original characters can be nice time to time, especially Becca and Rex, but I feel that excluding main characters in favor of OCs can take the "Fan" out of Fanfiction.

I enjoy the interactions between Knuckles and Tikal. The two show great chemistry with each other.

I started getting the idea that the purple dokan was Nack. Its a bit of a shame though. His exit feels anticlimatic. He seems so intimidating, then bam, he's pretty much defeated. Nonetheless, the rest of the chapter was enjoyable. Seeing the chao become so cautious yet so curious when Knuckles entered was cute. It was sweet when they lay a their tiny blankets over him. Such adorable creatures chao are.
