| Vor Og Vetur chapter 1 . 1/24/2018 Aside from that, my most favourite parts of this chapter were your descriptions of Zuko's cooking. As a longtime vegan, it's hard to be swayed by any description of meat being cooked, but you had me salivating when Zuko charred the meat, and the sauce got all over Katara's face. Honestly, you gave me the same amount of food envy that I got when I first read the scene in The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe when the Pevensies ate dinner with the beavers. Do you write professionally at all? If so, I would love to read your works. I know that you've been inactive on fan fiction for a while, judging by your output, but I hope you write more Zutara, Avatar-related fanfics, or simply anything. Aside from the cooking scene, it was so sweet how Toph felt better after being wrapped like a cabbage-roll, and even sweeter how Zuko takes care of her. He has such a caring nature, deep down, and I wish Book hadn't been rushed so that we could have seen him interact with the Gaang more, like this. |
| Vor Og Vetur chapter 1 . 1/24/2018 Ahhh! It just gets better and better. Honestly. I really want to try my hand at animating these scenes. It would be so good to see this play out on a screen. It has all the makings of an episode in it. You are skilled at seamlessly placing importance on each character in every scene. Most works of fiction place too much emphasis on the thoughts of the protagonist, and don't focus enough on the other characters. You may have written in Katara's perspective, but you made sure to include the other characters beautifully. Well done. I honestly think you do the best job in capturing every personality, particularly Zuko's! |
