A captivating, in-depth story that had me squealing and muttering oaths (for lack of a better word :p). The details in the plot combined with the reluctant but somewhat passionate relationship makes it very realistic.

And I never feel that any of the characters are OOC. Great job!

No seriously, please, think about it. Everyday you don't post a new chapter, a kitten meets a tragic death and becomes a Nyan Cat.

I can't believe you gave up this story. It is far too good to be left behind! Come on, you have to finish it, it is your duty to your loyal readers, as you said yourself before! This is one of the best AC fics I've read, and I've read a lot believe me. You can't leave us in suspense! It's been already 3 years but when AC Revelations comes out I hope you find inspiration again to finish this, because it is GREAT.

And for God's sake, they seriously need to HAVE sex! hahaha

i plead and pray to the higher powers that when AC:REVELATIONS comes out, you'll find inspiration to finish this brilliant story. the unresolved tension is slowly killing me, i'm sure.

we may too soon tire of the canon and their forced corporate blandness. because it's far less interesting than your writing!

So, I know this story is probably the last thing on your mind, but it is WONDERFUL, and since I so rarely find a good assassin/oc story that I am willing to read over and over I would be overjoyed if you continued writing it again. Please :)

So I re-read this story, for what, the 7th time now? And every time it breaks my heart that there isn't more. You wrote this story so well, so beautifully, in a way which allows the reader to feel for the characters, really feel and it just ends short when it was getting bloody awesome. And so we want more.

Please, if you've given up writing this story, at least consider giving us one last chapter for a proper ending.

Whhyyyy, why haven't you updated this story in 2 1/2 years? This story is soooo good, I urge you to continue it...I understand that life can get in the way, but it seems you have a whole bunch of fans who would love to see you finish this story. Please please please do.

Well, since I already submitted a review for this lovely chapter, I decided to scam the system and write another one 'anonymously'.

On slow days, on rainy days, on days peppered with sneezes and Kleenex, I always end up defaulting to this website to pass the time. To feel nostalgia through another person's pen.

Still not believing this started off as a one-shot, I find myself surprised at how hooked I still am considering it's been 2 years since I last read it. Of course, the game's many spin-offs and sequels have [not-so-quietly] come and gone, but none of their stories came close to the honesty of the original, and explored a character as deliciously complex as Altair.

But this has. And I trust it still does.

I understand life’s obligations and the incredible commitment it takes to complete such a project, but I do hope you continue, as this has the potential to be so much more than a genre restricts it to be.

Even if you've outgrown this story, please don't ever stop writing. That would be a sad waste.
