Beautifully written. I like how you captured Itachi's character through the eyes of another so that, in a way, we are seeing him as he sees others (if that assessment even makes sense). Simply beautiful.

*grins* this is an interesting idea - usually I don't like one-shots as they leave too much unanswered, but then one like this comes along and leaves me hanging again but I still enjoy it :)

Woh. Nice. I like Itachi and I don't really like looking at him as something or someone who isn't human but this idea of yours is pretty cool. Dedicating himself to fear... And the subtle little suggestion towards the end that he actually might be feeling anger towards Sasuke was a nice touch.

For some reason, my favorite bit of this oneshot is the 'Feeling hungry? Eat something.' line. (Perhaps this is because it convinced me to go eat some cereal before attempting to do my schoolwork. But still.) Thanks!

2 drabbles in 2 days. Very impressive. I really liked this fic, with Kisame both contemplating and watching his partner and how he acts. Your fic gave us quite the insight into both how Kisame thinks and a personal perspective of Itachi. It was very well done.
