Yup - now THAT is pure Daniel!

I absolutely adore this little bit of Daniel-I like how you also indicate he did have a life outside of the SGC, not just crammed up in his office all the time. Truly beautiful character study on both Jack and Daniel.

I had to go find a tissue before writing this review. Although Daniel isn't in the story, his presence simply glows because it so *very* him. And it also shows a bit more how lost Jack felt without him. A wonderfully emotional, true to the characters story. I'm glad I found it.

Hi, that was a wonderful fic. It actually kept me guessing what it was all about. Beautifully thought of with William becoming a teacher not an archeologist well done for that. I almost thought that Daniel would come back at the end and thank Jack or something but I love Jack's words 'more than you'll ever know'. Maybe a sequel would be Jack finding out more.
