Um... I don't think Mrs Lovett is gross she don't look like her skin is rough and she is beautiful, her way but beautiful just like every woman. I don't know if I'm mental but I think she'll like it rough.

Okay.. I get that Sweeney Todd loves his wife and he only strong feelings towards her. But honestly, I doubt he would be this cold towards mrs Lovett. She isn't disgusting or gross.. I don't know why y'all are saying that. She was madly in love with a man, and she went to great lengths for him. Yes she made a mistake, but in the beginning and the end he was never repulsed by the sight of her? Or her moans? Or her face? She wasn't dirty? She was pale and beautiful. She was dark and she carried around a lot of emotion. She was stronger than Lucy ever was and if anything she deserved a happy ending

I loved the contrasts between the two and could see that it WOULD be like that for them both, but I do think that Sweeney wouldn't be that bad I mean he doesn't hate her, but I do think he would be disgusted with himself if he ever did do that to Nellie. I completely agree with Ember A. Keelty there, he wouldn't hate her but he would be disgusted. But other than that it was amazing *faves* you must write more :)

Poor Mrs. Lovett! I never did believe the bit about her "rumpled bedding." Her fantasies were already getting away from her in that scene, so it wouldn't be too surprising if THAT one did. Sadly, if it is true, it probably WOULD be like this, and not kinky and fun the way I'd like to imagine them being. And while I too think he really DOESN'T hate her this much (yet), I'm sure he would in the moments he was sleeping with her instead of Lucy.

Inu-midoriko: Did you REALLY just call Lucy "slutty"? I'm a Mrs. L fan too, but that's COMPLETELY unjustified. Do you mean because she had sex with her husband, or because she was RAPED? Or is "slut" just a generic insult you throw at girls you don't like? Either way, you need to learn to pick your words more carefully.

I love your contrast of Barker and Todd. It certainly has a nice edge to it.

Wonderful. I like how the flashforwards are in italics this time. It seems to fit better with this story that way.

Well, everytime I read this story it blows me away again! You really know how to keep them in character, and especially "your" Sweeney is always a joy because of his ic-ness.

Normally I never touch fanfiction, and when I do, I sure as hell never see reason to review it - but I really have to compliment you on this. I was terrified of venturing into Sweeney fanfic, let alone Sweeney/Lovett fanfic, for fear of the OOCness of it all. But you've got these characters _down_, and did a damn good job of writing this. Props to you, internet warrior!

Once again, your writing astounds me. I think the way you juxtaposed Sweeney and Barker was just perfect. I do wish that perhaps he didn't hate Mrs. Lovett that much, but, like the others have said, you kept him in character throughout. Wonderful piece of work.
