At first I was really excited with this fic, I was kinda , "Oh yes yes yes, long Lanaworth fic, 200k words, and 36 chapters!" because other Lanaworth fic that I've found always too short. And I read the first chapter and I love it.
But then, I was like falling from a building when I read the later chapters. It's more like a game novelisation rather than a Lanaworth fanfiction. The trial scene, the dialogue, is exactly like in the game. I dunno, maybe you just copied the game script and added Edgeworth/Lana thoughts. And in the last chapter, what's the point to write Matt Engarde case? The trial scene, kidnapping, etc? What does it has anything to do with Edgeworth/Lana relationship?
Sorry if I sound too rude, but I really disappointed with this fic. Because I want to read a story which explore Lanaworth relationship, maybe with some fluffy stuff, I don't care if it's OOC, different with canon, I don't care, I just want more Lanaworth. If we must stay with canon, it won't be called a fanfiction. Not to read that I have know from the game and I have remember every single dialogue in my head.
I hope you will make a revision because the game novelisation was ruined this promising story.

Great story, it's hard to find Edgeworth/Lana fic, most fic are too short. You keep both Edgeworth and Lana in character.
But I have some critics, I hope I don't sound too rude. You put too much spoilers from the game, and you write too much exactly like in the game, and made me skip all the trial scene that I have know from the game. I prefer to read the trial and scene that you write by yourself. The novelisation from the game was taken too much part in this story, made Edgeworth/Lana relationship story closed.
If you continue this story someday, I hope you will write more about Edgeworth/Lana relationship especially their wedding, their life as husband and wife etc and you diminish scenes from the game.

It's sad to see this as the last chapter of this wonderful story. I do hope that someday, this will be updated, rejoicing every loyal fan of this underrated pairing. Everything was wonderful, well-put. It deserved to be given a chance for a pairing that I know some people will never think of seeing, mostly because of their childish fantasies with Edgeworth.

All in all, great job. I hope to see the return of this story, if ever Lana never returned in Ace Attorney.

Thank you! Thank you for this! I've just read the first chapter and let me tell you, you are amazing! You have no idea how much I ship Edgeworth/Lana. I just got into the fandom and I was bummed to find out that there aren't many shippers of the two. Most fics that I found were either too short or incomplete. Yes, I know this story is incomplete as well but it is quite long (200k words! Enough to entertain me though it would probably leave me hanging, I guess :)) and it seems like you haven't really updated in a long time and probably never will but I just really wanted to thank you for this contribution to the fandom. :) I really do hope you update soon.

I recently replayed Phoenix Wright, and I thought,"I wonder if they have any Lana/Miles fics?"
I am so glad I found this. I literally could not live without this fanfiction. I love how we see Miles and Lana think, and I hope you continue writing.

You know, I keep wishing you would switch to Phoenix POV from time to time, but anyway, the story IS good.

What I'm really looking forward to, is the final case in JFA, where Miles and Phoenix reunite. And the final case in T&T, where they reunite again.
