im way too invested to leave this story, but I've legit always avoided stories with tragedy tags, (also there is NO tragedy tag so there better not be a tragic ending)

well... I guess Voldie wins... I hope that it is revealed what caused this to happen to Harry and the fact his friends, family and school was complicit. the flashbacks are showing just how much Cedric meant to him and the lengths he would go to protect him... and he was ignored by everyone. they are as much at fault as Peter and Voldie. why would you send an obviously grieving child back to neglectful relatives?

I only really read the parts of the story based in the present, I tried to read the backstory but couldn’t get into it. Maybe if the backstory had be part one and the present part two.

I decided to read further before I write a review. So here it is.
I love the way you write Cedric and Harry. It's so sweet that it made me feel warm and fluffy. And I think their relationship didn't progressed too fast, abrupt or anything. Just right for me! Idk, they're meant to be since the beginning, fated pair, made for each other. Cedric is very caring, not being forceful and very patient towards Harry. And it helps that Harry didn't throw a fit immediately about they're being mates like most story used to make him. This Harry is not as hot-headed(?). But I think it had to do with this set during PoA and GoF so, no emotional Harry like in OotP. Here he grieves over Cedric his mate instead of Sirius.
At first I'm not used to this style of writing in two timeline, past and present, bit confusing too. But as the story progressed, I kinda feel like, it's actually okay! It's unusual for me, but hey! It works!
