I first started reading this series because I wanted to see how how you did the classic games before I read your Megaman X novelization. I haven't played the classic games so I have no idea how closely to the original story you stayed. The stories you told were fantastic. You had me hooked from the first one. While I'm sad to see it end, I know that you finished years ago and won't continue. You probably won't see this review either, but if you do, know that your works have brought me and many others hours of joy.

It's freaking me out how I both likes and hated this ending
It was utterly amazingly mind-blowing...but in a bad way yet not in the sense it was done badly at all
It was just...awful to read
Especially since we know for a fact that there's no chance of anything changing, of anything other than the worst case scenario happening, but at the same time we don't even get to see it happen
These incredible characters don't even get to go out with a bang, or even at all, we simply get informed it happened, could have been prevented, but without a doubt it won't
It's rather cruel-not you but just the way the story came out...

Aaaaaand there goes any lingering feeling of fondness for sane-Doc man out the window

I am...going to have nightmares about this last scene
Especially since we all already know that that's it from what you said, Rock fails and Mega man X is being written by you
after all that the end of the story, of these amazing characters you've built, is "things won't be the same, they hope it'll get worse before it gets better, but I'm telling you now it won't, I'll just tell you that they all die horribly in one go in a big tragedy that breaks their dad's heart and mind" the end except that the world still goes through hell without them
It's rather heartbreaking
Scratch that it's disturbingly blunt and cold in its conclusion

And I loved that the helmet came off at the end of that scene, cause if the thing with Doc man was true then that let him be Rock again as the icing on the cake for letting go of the stress and brotherly bonding :)

It's funny how Bass's plan revolved around the repetition of the rebellions, yet this ones so so different

Its weird
Maybe because of the immense time gap I never really thought of mega masn X in that way-as the youngest, long lost Light child
It may also be because he's modelled after an adult when his older siblings look like young teens which is rather misleading
But I think I like the idea of him being one of the family, of being intended as part of them
I wonder how he would have turned out if he got to be one of the Lights rather than on his own...

Oh no Dr Lights going to die soon of some kind of illness isn't he?!

Lights such a good man
But its so sad that we already knjw that the youngest and last Light will awaken long after his siblings end, and the poor guy will be more or less alone in the familial respect
I wonder if Doc man will still have his job and we able to keep an eye on his youngest cousin
