I have to say, I never would have thought of this pairing, and though it caught me completely off guard (and seeing as how I only started reading Legend of Zelda fics about two or so weeks ago when I actually have time)... I'm totally impressed. You're so right, I love Midna's character and I really wanted to see her paired up with someone and I'm already attached to LinkZelda pairings so he's outta the question... Your execution was dead on. Midna plus Dark Link plus naughty and devious thoughts makes for a freaking awesome fanfic.

Their banter was perfect, I guess you must be a fan of witty and "lewd" dialog too, right? Ha, yeah. It was cute, but definitely not mushy. I don't know what else to say, it was just so perfect!

You ask I deliver. AU authur that's pretty good. By the way You won't find me picking on your spelling. I know Canada, England and elsewere they spell there words a little different. I actually spent seven weeks in Canada, the capitol of Canada in fact (name of which excapes me at present) sorry I don't know the names of the capitol of most states in the USA, let alone bothering to learn Canadian Geogrephy as well. Anyway figured I'd let you know about Sakurelle, there is another one out there but their name excapes me and I haven't read the stuff in a while. Oh well, If I find them I'll let you know. Got a couple of AU's in the braining right now. Need time though.

Wow, I just finished writing my own Midna x Dark Link fic (which is, of course, composed of absolute amateur writing compared to yours), and then I thought to myself, why haven't I ever read fics of this pairing? And then I stumbled upon yours.

Anyways, I tried thinking of a plausible solution for a Dark Link and Midna fic, coincidentally thinking that Midna was Zelda's darker counterpart, and just wouldn't seem right to fit her with Link. It then dawned on me that Link too had a dark counterpart, with the unsurprisingly imaginative name Dark Link.

I remember reading that Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time were in the same universe, only that the events of TP occured 100 years later than OoT.

So then I started brainstorming, and finalized my idea that Dark Link was in fact a Twilight Being. Remember there was one cutscene in Twilight Princess with a trio of Dark Links who represented the ancestors of the twilis. So based on my strange logic and reasoning, I made Dark Link the Twilight Prince who was kidnapped by Ganondorf to guard the Water Temple.

So yes, there is absolutely a possible solution to Midnark in the Zelda Universe, but that's just me.

Now, after sharing my insignificant opinion on the idea, here are my thoughts on the story:

Very well written and expert use of literature. Although I can't say that AU fics are my favorite, your collection of them are splendid. Dark Link himself is an ambiguous character with absolutely no emotion, so he can be interpreted in a number of ways. I myself thought he was a more reserved and benevolent figure, but you chose for him to be somewhat aggressive. Midna seems a little more callous than usual, much more than her impish and teasing character. But, I have no objections to your interpretations. They are very well done and I enjoyed their character description, especially the part about Dark trying to blend into the wall. Overall, it was a very enjoyable fic and I applaud you for using this rather obscure pairing.
