This is lovely. I absolutely love how you’ve focused on House’s addictive nature and how that extends beyond figuring out the puzzle and taking the Vicodin. You’ve shown a much darker side of his always needing to know how everything fits together which was really interesting.

I have to say…. THANK YOU for not going down hallucination road. Had you done that, I really think it would have ruined the fic. You’ve managed to include the drugs without making it silly and slap stick. Well done there.

I don't know if I'd mentioned this before, but I love your voice-the approach you take with the telling of the story. I was also impressed with the way you handled the House/Cuddy-ness. Good stuff.
