You've kept both Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett very in character, and it's a very realistic scenario. I love the comparision between Mrs. Lovett and the sea, and Sweeney's thoughts on the whole matter. It's a shame that they can't work out together, but I can see him feeling this while he still has some of his humanity left...

Oh, /wow/! This is just the thing I've been trying to write since I saw the movie on Thursday...and then again on Saturday. At first I tried writing a Lovett drabble, but it just wouldn't come out right. Then I started over, and it /still/ wasn't right! Then, I tried to write one for Sweeney, because for some reason, I seem to write better from his point of view. I'd love it if you could try to help me...But yes, very well done!

I really enjoyed this. I loved the last line. I like the way you have Sweeney change his attitude towards the blue at the end.

Just one little note. This sentence looks like there was a bit of a typing error: "Even Mrs. Lovett is was little like the sea, he mused."

Cute oneshot. I liked the theme of colors. I would have liked to see Mrs. Lovett's reaction to the final line- I can just imagine how happy she would be that Mr. Todd had spent even a moment seriously thinking about her seaside fantasies :)
