This was really amazing and I loved it!

P.S. I thought that you would like to know is that season 3 , there are 26 episodes (it is the longest season) and Derek's serious girlfriends (like Kendra and Sally-her first appearences in the show-) are only in like 6 episodes of the 26. And all of the other episodes are mostly all of the complete Dasey episodes like "Misadventures in Babysitting," "Don't Take a Tip From Me," "Bully Brothers," "Movie Making," "Summer School Blues," "Grade A Cheater," "Adios Derek," "Sixteen Sparkplugs," "A Very Derekus Christmas," "Not So Sweet Sixteen," "Driving Lessons," "Make No Prom-ises," and "Things That Go Bumb in the Night" (I just looked that all up on Wikipedia-lol- and those are only just a few of them!)

very well written and from an interesting point of view. I really like the holden/ derek characterization

I like this piece. I like...everything about it.

I wasn't a big fan of "Catcher in the Rye", but I really like this fic. (And might like the book more if I re-read it without having to write a paper about it. _~) The whole symbolism behind his necklace is too cool. And I love allusions, especially literary ones. And his whole change of attitude in the very end is great. The perfect ending.

Wow, that was really good. I've been trying to figure out that necklace too. And if you notice, it keeps changing lengths. I never thought of it haveing a Dasey meaning though. Very well writtne. XD

Aw, super cute! I won't lie and say I ever thought about a hidden meaning behind his necklace, but I will say (honestly, too) that this was a great explanation for it! :D

I LOVE this story! I'm a new fan of LWD and have been a Holden Caulfield fan for years. It's great that someone else sees the similiarities between these two characters. It was amazing. Getting inside Derek's head is very difficult and I think you captured his tone and thought process extremely well. I'm glad to know someone else loves that necklace too. GREAT!

Derek does have a strong resemblance to Holden. A very nice and fitting parallel. And the brass ring necklace: very clever. Good Job :)
