Wish you hadn't just left it here. It was too good to just stop like that. You write the characters too well. Darn it.

Your version of Lily is refreshing. She's not just a goody two shoes as she's portrayed in some fics. She's three dimensional and, let's face it, if swearing was allowed in the harry potter books, people their age would totally be a bunch of potty mouths.
Your version of James is sweet and funny and ridiculous and I think I'm kind of in love with him. Obviously not above Sirius, but ya know.

I went back over my old favourite stories and this one caught my eye. Thought, why not read it? What's the worst that can happen. I even managed to kid myself that perhaps it was a complete story at five chapters. Succinct, maybe, but complete.
And then I discover that you have stopped this mid-way! How could you create such a witty, well-written fic, and then just leave it?!

I have not read a fanfic on here properly in around five years. If not more. I skim read. And most of what I skim read leaves me a little meh. This had me engrossed. And I was LAUGHING. OUT LOUD. SO MUCH I HAD TO HIDE IT FROM THOSE I LIVE WITH. I'm getting a bit too old for this now, ya know?

I know you could make a grand return if you really, really...reeeally... wanted to. And I would applaud and genuflect with gusto. (P.S. I went to put flagellate, but then looked up what that actually meant.)

I am finally trying to finish my HP stories I made in my teens just to give me closure, and they aren't half as good as this one promised to be. Please. Just make one final bow and complete this. It's worth it. It would make an oldish harry potter fangirl very happy. There just aren't enough people with your kind of talent on here anymore.

One more chapter is all it could take.

Please tell me she got the book back...
