Ok so I’m ten years late to this story. I really like it but there are some glaring inconsistencies (like Alex having to work the next day let alone the next few weeks after the abduction—that would never happen). Now after meeting, sitting with and interacting with Celine in Ch 5, she is reintroduced 20 chapters later like they’ve never spent time together? In Ch 5 Celine was aware that Alex was in the hospital after saving a stabbed Olivia Benson. They talked about this! You don’t forget such things. Made Ch 25 seem like a huge oversight with storytelling.

Now that is not playing nice with us. Leaving us with such a massive cliffhanger at the end of the story.
