Romance? Definitely not. I was actually hoping that Ichigo would take a fatal blow for Byakuya or something, and while she was dying, she wouldn't want to look at his face for the emotional pain he caused her, making him regret and stuff. I would've prefered that kind of ending for a story like this

Ooh! Sometime I wish this wasn't a one-shot! Would you mind if I made this into more? A complete story instead of just one chapter? That ending got things running through my head and I want to write them all! I just really want to continue this, it was so good.

This fic was brilliant I actually cried when the servent went all mega biatch on ichi and that does not happen often. I feel you truly captured what a realistic relationship between Ichigo and Byakuya would be like. I got confused when I read it. I really didn't see any romance between Ichigo and Byakuya. It was good and all, but you could've add more romance because there was almost none there.
