I really completely LOVEd the story, and the "less is more" thing DID work for this particular story! :D I'd love if you made a second chapter, like a few months later after he'd gotten her back, and that whenever they were alone she called him "Leslie". I loved how you wrote about both sides of Jake, and you didn't just make it ridiculously cute, you actually gave reasons for his previous actions and explained everything. And yet it was still adorable.

The 'less is more' thing definitely works here. lmao.

I think this kind of oneshot is best shorter.
