   Kamen Rider Raika chapter 1 . 8/6/2018 An interesting look at the Avatar mythos (before the "official" version was introduced). The way the beginning of the avatar is told is really nice, like a campfire or bedtime story, and I could actually believe this to be part of the Avatar world (you know, before Bryke's version came along). I hope we get more like this in the future. Raika out. |
| dandelion chapter 1 . 5/23/2018 This is far superior to the "canon" explanation of the avatar's origin. I think the series is much stronger when spiritual/magical explanations and interference are kept to a minimum, and the actions of humans (you know, in the human world) are more influential than those of spirits. This is a lovely short story, really ties together all the bits and pieces of worldbuilding we get in the main series. |
