| Guest chapter 1 . 7/24/2015 Wow. Amazing work. The build-up of tension is executed perfectly and you bring the complexity of both characters — as well as their relationship — to life. I detest Zutara fics that head straight for the tsundere and sweet, as if they were in love all along and fighting *because* of it, precisely because there is so much more potential to this pairing — the hurt, the betrayal, the anger, the self-deception, the contrast, the shades of gray in their moralities, what they bring out in each other... And you manage to highlight all of those in such a short piece, which frankly does their characters more justice than some romance epics. Thank you for sharing. |

Oh, and I specially loved the interaction between Zuko and Toph, I imagine them as sibilings or something like that. So nice! All the characters were perfectly portrayed, It's been a long time since I've read something as good as this, but I get the sesation that the story should continue. Well, bye! |
