I like your previous Mind Games and Chronicles of the Deceased very much (too bad, Mind Games was deleted without a reason and all those wonderful review vanished with them... -_-"). And yes, I like this one too. It's an awesome analytical perspective of both characters and how they share their similarities. You even created a background for both of them which I didn't find out of place at all. It is a wonderful chapter, I couldn't say more. I love the lines you place as separator. :)

As someone who read Mind Games (but never reviewed...mostly because I didn't know how) I'd like to say this is awesome. In truth, I'm hoping you'll post it back up again, just so I can reread it after this. This was amazing!

And, for someone who doesnt support LxLight, you sure can write a good story about them.

The lyrics fit perfectly with the character changes and I love how you place so much confusion in this.

It is laced with perfection.

This is just so beautifully done. Also thank you for introducing me to that song, because now it's one of my favorites. ) It was a great choice for this story too.

I liked the character analysis and the way you set it up in a comparative way. I loved the way you portrayed Light's arrogance in such a blatant way, but it still seems almost deserved. I also liked L's line about seeing his constant lying as a defense mechanism. Another thing is the way it could be hinted romance or just extremely detailed observation. And Still just ties the whole thing together.

Beautifully written with some excellent use of imagery. It certainly bears re-reading as there is so much to digest. I particularly enjoyed the paragraph concerning the clinical dissection of inferior intellect. “I can drain you of self-worth, self-respect and confidence with one swift word, one disarming smile, and walk away with your entire personality categorised, filed and degraded”. Excellent and really quite chilling.

Decided to read the prequel first. It was excellent! So analytical, so much in-character, for both of them! Brilliant, really!

only words like 'beautiful' and 'perfect' can sum up your elegant narrative.

Beautiful story. You wrote a wonderful past for L, sad and touching, but with a lot of meaning for him. You do write the most in-character love fics of DN!
