Great chapter. I'm afraid my knowlegde of history doesn't extend that far back in any detail. Will Buffy meet any of the immortals from the movies/series? I suppose I'll have to wait to find out. I do like how Buffy poses as the daughter of her children, that makes sense, as long as no one knew the family well, but most immortals move around alot. Rejoice is a great name, I can't wait to met the character that would name his daugther that. Really interesting story, eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

huh. That's going to hurt in the morning... thinking about it, a woman immortal had it a lot tougher than a male one, for sure-a guy could just be a wandering merc or whatever, but in most times & places a woman couldn't respectably travel alone-Dido has Emrys to accompany her etc, but managing something like that is rare-

anyway- can't wait to see how & why she becomes "Buffy Summers" later on...I'm assuming the "spell to see spells" maybe shakes her out of it a bit?

I hope she still ends up being Hannibal's ancestor... one of the interesting things about this story is, wondering why in the world Eshe/Dido would take on the persona of Buffy Summers and become "the" slayer in 1997 or so...my first thought is, she's good friends with the prior slayer and helps her fake her death (to get out of the slayer game) and then just pretends to be the "next" slayer...and then that friend died, resulting in Kendra's calling.

At the current rate, the question should be answered in another 50 chapters

Aside from super strength, the inability of other immortals to 'detect' her is a huge advantage for her, no question. She can stay off the 'radar' of the watchers for a long time (ie the ones who follow Immortals). Funny, the note about her being 'tall for a woman', but that'd have been true back then ...

Now would not be a good time to encounter Methos, he's kind of going through a phase right now but it's likely to happen, I suppose-

* One interesting point for much later-ok, while she was 'the slayer' in S1, there was actually another slayer elsewhere...one the council didn't know about? Or it was Kendra & Giles never checked with "Mr. Zabuto' on the exact date when she was called?
