So...I'm not expecting anything to come out of this review since you stopped writing a decade ago but...well, I'm going to follow this story just in case. Though that seems unlikely.

Your plot is very well thought out and I'm now forlorn due to Kira-L-Light triangle that will never be solved. L needed the confirmation, I believe. The chapters are also put together very well and your pacing is pleasant. Your word choices are good and I didn't have to use dictionary. I think this fic shines in the characters' backstories; they're structured beautifully and you remind the reader of their existence in everything the characters do. All in all, this is a solid story and I hope you want to finish it at one point. Thank you for writing at least to this point.
