All the blame about Naruto crap childhood should not be put only on his father shoulder. Minato did de best thing he thought he could do on that moment to sa e everyone.
If he had not died I doibt he would let all that things happen to his son enven if some people did not like Naruto.
Hiruzen Saeuto had a lot of blame to, because of him no one knew who his parents were, he did try hide he was kinchuriki but Danzo told every one, Danzo shoild had been punished.
He could let some one adopt him but he did not let other people do this.
Jiraya who was Naruto godfather did nothing until he was 12 or 13.
