This is the extreme side of John...you've presented so many possibilities so well, too. I don't like this side of him, but it's no different than "Black Ops Jack" and it got the job done, although I would hope that his emotions stopped short of this. Well done!

How do I feel about this story? It is unmitigatedly awesome. I am glad they let Sheppard's dark side out to play. We all knew he had it in him (The Storm, The Eye, etc). Off to review your corollary.

Oh, yes, Rodney is always worth it...

I don't think Rodney is worth it at all and it really saddens me that Sheppard was depicted so badly in this ep.
