That was creative and unique! It's good to finally read something about Kawamura's learning to take over the sushi shop. There are not that many stories on Kawamura or his sushi making, and I'm glad you wrote one.

I love this line: "It’s not that he regretted giving up tennis; that had been his choice, and it had been the right decision to make – both for him and his family. He couldn’t regret that."

That hit me hard as I look into my own life...anyway, good job on this fic!
