Nice. Some has to make the first move. Daniel is good at that. I always liked to think that they kept in touch even after he went to DC. The show never really addressed it. Sometimes long time friendships have to endure long distance. SG-1 frienship I always thought could endure most anything. I'm am optimist.

Aww! Go ahead, Daniel! In the series, it sort of seems like they do all lose touch with Jack when he goes to DC, which doesn't really fit SG-1's profile. At least here someone keeps in touch!

I like the way you write JackDaniel. It can be taken for slash or not (I prefer to see the NON-slash side). It was a good one, this one. Taken to the limit without going over even the slightest. Very nice.

Perfection...absolute perfection! Just when I thought nothing else could fit at the top of my favorites list...and a Daniel/Jack story to beat all! I have grown so weary of people using that song with Daniel because much of it doesn't fit, but you have surpassed them all with a satisfying, great story that actually makes real sense! Bravo!
