I came across this story by chance, and-to be perfectly honest-I loved it. :D I love how you characterized both Basil and Dawson. You captured that strange juxtaposition of youth and vast experience with Basil along with doing justice to Dawson. (Best of all, you didn't have poor Dawson as the buffoon! YAY!)

I'm adding this to my list of favorites since I love it so dearly. While I'd love a companion piece with Basil's perspective on Dawson, it works wonderfully well as a one-shot that I thank you for writing.
