This story is very well written.

I love how Jack of Blades was portrayed through the eyes of a child, since children tend to see things in a different and more acurate light when it comes to people.

I do hope you write another Fable story, with Jack of Blades in :D, yes, i am a crazed Jack of Blades fan!

Ho...ly... shizmits. I doubted you wrote this at first, y'know, too light, but... yeah. Yeah, you definately wrote this. And it's so shocking how you can make such simple words seem so terrifying. Right now, Stephen King is crying in pain. He's been bested. Yes he has. Brovo. Just freakin' brovo.

However I did notice a single spelling mistake.

"The could see every shard of glass..."

"They could see every shard of glass..." right?

Anyway, brovo. I like that little girl. Whatever her name is...
