When I think about the prophecy... if it's true, wouldn't happy SasuNaru be a solution? Kyuubi is supposed to appear in times of need, but if Naruto and Sasuke were to mate before any blood gets spilt, there wouldn't be any war and reason for her to emerge.

Btw, Hinata was one of Naruto's suitors, but in later chapters she appeared to me maid in Sasuke's palace too. Detail, but still something you might want to fix one day.

Oh wow ended up finishing what you have written for the series today. So addicting! Too bad it ended with a cliffhanger...so did sasuke just stab naruto? Isn't it going to be painful for the both of them? Also, I hope naruto has that darn tamer stone collar off of him...so many questions still to be answered! Can't wait for the next update, though it had been over a year :/

I love this fan fiction I've been following it for over a year now. Please update it. It would mean the world if you could give us, your fans, even just a little bit of closure at least.

Okay so i read this story a few days ago, and i literally cant stop thinking about it! Really great, and i hope naruto doesnt die!

I like the fact that Naruto is such a badass in this fic. He may be "submissive," or whatever that means, but he's also a powerful fighter who can take care of himself. Probably the strongest in the whole story. He also doesn't cry or weep or act ridiculously innocent. I prefer Sasuke and Naruto to take turns topping, but if Naruto must be the bottom-only, at least you haven't made him act like a stereotypical woman.

I was surprised that Sasuke stabbed him, but at the end of the previous chapter, it said that Sasuke had planned to "erase" Naruto from his mind, and that it would be difficult and require "several weeks worth of mental preparation," so I don't think Sasuke actually knew who he was stabbing because he doesn't remember Naruto anymore. You don't have to go through some kind of ritual to move on from your lost love, you just...move on. And moving on isn't the same as erasing them from your mind. But if Sasuke has forgotten Naruto, then what does he think of their bond, of the times him and Naruto can feel each other? Does Sasuke think he's hallucinating? Not know who he's feeling?

So now what happens to Naruto? Is Sasuke going to leave him for dead? Drag his body back to the castle? To me, it doesn't make sense for Sasuke to try to return with Naruto. (Plus it would be repeating the first half of the story again, which is boring.) Taking Naruto all the way back to the castle would be a big hassle since they are pretty far away from it and Naruto would never survive the trip, not with how much he is currently bleeding, plus the fact that he's been stabbed by the tamer's stone. Just eating some fish that had been killed by that same dagger made Naruto really, really sick before. Now being stabbed by it, I don't know how he is supposed to survive.

Another question is, what is Naruto going to think about Sasuke after this? Will he be sad? Confused? Angry? Bitter? Will he try to get revenge? Or is Naruto going to have faith in him somehow? He might try to mate with Gaara again if he feels like he's truly lost Sasuke this time, but I think that would be a bad idea since Naruto already knows for sure that his only feelings for Gaara are platonic. They've been "together" and sleeping in the same bed for five years now, if he was capable of feeling anything more for him, he would have, Sasuke or no Sasuke.

I find the whole war situation interesting. What was Sasuke,the second prince, actually doing on the battlefield himself? It's different for Naruto because he is so strong, but Sasuke is only human and shouldn't be used as a common soldier. I also wonder how they are going to end the war and how Naruto's prophecy will play a part in it. Naruto is supposed to end the war, but then he's going to disappear and the Kyuubi will be reborn. As Naruto already realized, none of that sounds very good for him.

But assuming Naruto doesn't actually die, there's also the long term problem of him being basically immortal while Sasuke has an ordinary human lifespan. While Naruto and Sasuke seem to be psychically linked, there's nothing in the story's lore about mates gaining each other's power and abilities, so I don't think if they bonded, Sasuke would get Naruto's immortality. (It's actually good that mates don't share powers and abilities because that would be a serious downgrade for Naruto because Sasuke is human. By taking a weak mate, Naruto would end up less powerful!)
