i cried and i am male ireally wanted to cry i was born in 1996 and i grew up on the books of calvin and hobbes in my school when i read the final strip

i really was sad but that was a really great way of ending it but the other really great way was to not end it at all this is what made my child hood i seriously

want to cry from that final awsome strip and from your story the creator should read that story and make another final strip from it i seriously imagined

it all happening in comic strip form

it really is a magical world

anyone reading this dont ever dare to forget that!

Such a sweet story, especially since Calvin always seemed to be the boy who would never tire of Hobbes, you know? Wow. Time stinks, but great job! This was wonderful!

SO SAD,BUT BEATIFULL!

waah! It's so sad! i'm nearly crying, and only one other fanfic has done that to me (and someone sweet died in that one, this little kid). I'll never forget Hobbes!

Aw, so sad. Poor Hobbes. And poor Calvin...leaving childhood behind sucks. Hence why at age 21, I still refuse to do so ;) I still have a room full of stuffed animals, and I still have that silly little kid superstition: each one has another stuffed animal that's their best friend and they CANNOT BE SEPARATED! I'm a dork. Also, I miss Calvin and Hobbes so very much. I mean, I have the books and stuff, but it's not the same!

Wow...That story was amazingly saddening...but it was written excellently. I don't usually like comics turned into stories, but that was really good.

I am going to cry! This story is so sad! Good, but sad!

In case you don't notice, my name is from Calvin and Hobbes. Where they're playing ball, Hobbes hits it far out and while Calvin races to retrieve it, Hobbes goes sslowly around the bases and does stuff like 'tying his shoes'. And in one part he goes 'Inchy squinchy, inchy squinchy'... that's where I got my name.

And this story is s-s-s-s-sad!

*sigh* Hobbes... He always seems to get hurt in these kinds of fics... But at least, he will always be a living thing in our hearts.

oh, NOOOO! *sniffs* how could you even think of..of..well, you know! Hobbes losing Calvin. Oh, too sad... (face scrunches up)
