I know it's been quiet some time since this story was wrapped up, but I must say that I really enjoyed it. The way you kept the Pegasus made much more since than how she went out in the show. The attack on the Cylons using their greatest strength against them was a good turn as well.

It would have been a bit interesting to find out just who knew about the Colonies on Earth; but not everything needs to be explained in a good story.

It also would have been interesting to see what would have happened had the Peggasus taken the chance to return to the Colonies after traveling so far back up stream. Given they could use existing plots and the full range of their FTL, it couldn't have taken much longer. No telling what they may have found.

Anyway, thanks for a great read

Oh I am so excited I just found this! Cant wait to read it. I am new to BSG world and finished the series this year only to really get disappointed in the missed opportunities for greatness that RDM had with Lee and Kara characters. I get angst/drama and wanting that but it could have been there without the ridiculous quadrangle and within Kara and Lee having a relationship...and come on...did we not have enough Baltar sex? If they had some more hot love scenes w/ the pilots or just some good old fashioned fracking every once in awhile it would could have only helped ratings and kept viewers. Anyway...on to read your epic which is my most fave form of fanfic. I just saw that ridiculous rude post from someone else and couldn't stand to see it. People can be so rude.

A beautiful journey, that's what this story was and an example of what the Kara/Lee relationship could have evolved into in the show if it hadn't followed the soapy formula-shocking twist, crisis, resolution, new crisis and of course ever increasing escalation. It's not a bad formula per see, especially for a story focused on characters relationships but to be well executed it needs to stay somewhat organic and going mid season 2 it seem to me that some character, Lee and Kara chief among them, were jerked around quite arbitrarily to fit the schema in spite of prior characterization.

Anyway good work.
Beyond Lee and Kara, Caprica's journey, you treatement of the Pegasus crew and Lee choices concerning the Cylon race were great example of dramatic writing. So was Kara miscarriage or Lee's crisis after Tigth death.

I absolutely loved this story! Thank you so much for writing it. This helped fill a Kara/Lee hole. The story was very well written and organized nicely. You gave the characters so much depth. Loved it!

This story was rather enjoyable.

I like most of it. And I'm glad that Kara and Lee ended up together.

Although, I prefered the show's idea that the colonials were our ancestors... And the importance of the cylons in their finding of earth. The cylons being some sort of BSG Gollum: evil but necessary for the saving of humanity.

Anyways, your story was still great.

I just finished reading this and it was amazing. You did a great job with getting them to earth with the becons. I really liked your version of earth so much better than the show! This was a great read.
