so, i got to say that at the moment your Ovelia seems like self-centered bitch, who doesn't give a damn about anything but herself and her own vengeance, nevermind the damage that would be done to Ivalice as a whole, or what she's asking Ramza to do just after literally saving the damn world. and if she were actually capable of being a competent ruler, she wouldn't have gotten herself into this situation in the first place.

I know it's old, but probably one of the best FFT FanFiction out there. I didn't even like RamzaOvelia but you made me change my mind for a while. You have a nice writing style, very flowing and clear. Thank you for your work.

I love your Ramza and this story especially. I'm so used to FF Tactics being a war game and Ramza being this incredibly determined, relentless hero that I forgot how innocent he is even by the end of game. He may have killed every Eldritch Horror the world of Ivalice could fit in one country but he never lost his innocence. He still gives people the benefit of the doubt, he listens, he does everything he can to help everyone he comes across because he never abandoned the image of knighthood his father left him.

Thank you for this. It's a beautiful sometimes sad look at the lives of three kind hearted people forced into a world where kindness was never rewarded. I'm happy the three of them found happiness with each other.

This Story was INCREDIBLE. I honestly don't know what happened to you between writing this, and Iceman, because I read this and immediately thought, 'ah, he gets it.'

Alma probably puts the pieces together about the miscarriage just like the readers do, but you understood here that there needn't be any scene where they sit down and talk about it. It's like you get that the reader is privy to that information, and that there's no need for anyone to conveniently change jobs to psychologist two chapters before hand to push the narrative. Actions follow thought, and motivations without need of a second party literary agent. Things never felt like they were just happening because a Lucavi with a clearly defined goal and the means to accomplish it inexplicably decided to take leave of all good sense.

Half of me feels ashamed of the fact that I'm so enamored of your WaFF piece, but it's just so much more well organized than Iceman. I'm so happy I read Save the Queen after Iceman, I don't think I could have borne the disappointment if I'd read them in order of release.

Sadly I probably won't be reading most of your stuff since it seems to be in first person. Never the less, I can't thank you enough for the work you did on this story. This was awesome!

You had an excellent story and the ending was just fine in my opinion. It was subtle enough to make a difference and while I do wish you covered a bit more of the Agrias/Ramza argument stuff (since that would probably be a topic of conversations between him and Ovelia since it ties with his own hangups on relationships as well) that's just my own selfishness. Your story was great and I enjoyed reading it. Ovelia deserved much better then the crap Delita put her through at the end so kudos.

This is really nice. I like how you were able to work out a generally happier ending for Ovelia (and Ramza) while still managing to make it fit with the game's canon events. After all, we don't ever get to see what happens after the stabbing, now do we? I also liked your portrayal of the characters, and the very real issues that might come up in the unique situation they'd been placed in. Even Delita, who only made one actual appearance, was appropriately shown to be somewhere between a total jerk and a man who honestly wanted what he thought was best. All in all, great work!
