soaked velvet starlight chapter 12 . 4/17/2010 Absolutely hilarious. I was laughing constantly. Your dialogue is dead-on perfect, and your descriptions of the characters' thoughts are brilliant and amazingly well-paced. Really professionally written too - you are, in short, a really good writer. Your imagery is hilarious too - "CJ and Sam rush into the bull-pen at a rate of knots, grab Leo, who lets out a startled squawk, and haul him bodily towards CJ's office." I just laughed myself sick at that image for about a minute. I really can't find anything to complain about in this story, other than a couple of British(or other European?) phrases where the characters would use American ones. ANYhow, great, great, great story, please keep writing! |
spunkymuzicnote chapter 12 . 9/18/2007 Fabulous! Absolutely Fabulous! I laughed from beginning to end. You've got the characterization down perfectly for all of the staff. The rhythm of the dialog / narration is written in outstanding West Wing style. Plus I love the last sentence. "RIP George. Thanks, buddy." It's the perfect button to end the story with. Great job! |
Manic Penguin chapter 10 . 2/18/2006 Two images are going to stay with me for a long time But I keep being distracted by images of my chinchilla hanging out of a helicopter with a bandanna on his head… and CJ and Sam rush into the bull-pen at a rate of knots, grab Leo, who lets out a startled squawk, and haul him bodily towards CJ's office. |
