Dang, this has to be one of the best fanfics I have ever read. You capture all the characters so well, keep the story moving and your dialogue is spot on. I feel like I’m watching an episode of the show but you kept it all the technical aspects that make an investigation an investigation. I love it because it shows how hard the characters work and it feels so realistic. I hope you’re still writing! And thanks for sharing this story.

Just discovered this brilliantly written story! I began reading and couldn't quit before the end. I'm in awe seing such talent. I've read a lot of fanfic and this is probably one of the very best long stories on this site for this fandom. You have a real plot and move it forward without forgetting anything and are never boring.
We can see your favorite character is Gibbs and you write him well; it's like in the show. But you address everyone and each team member has a meaningful task and is shown as competent. I love that you show in few words but show nonetheless the special place of Tony in the dynamic.

Hi, I have just finished reading the entire story and I'm very much impressed. You got all the characters down perfectly. I like how you brought out the rivalry between Hollis and Jenny. I didn't expect Gibbs (and Tony) to get hurt, but your description is awesome! Then there was the connection between Abby and Gibbs, it being so very strong, right down to the last paragraph which had me shuddering a little.

WOW! You captured the essence of Gibbs in the last few lines. He is a man who was trained to kill. Gibbs would have killed him and put his actions in the same place he compartmentalized the deaths he caused as a sniper or officer of the law. He has already crossed a line most of us would never cross.

This is such a good chapter with Tony doing his job, confronting Gibbs and asking the right questions. Tough and hard-hitting. Well done, as is your whole story. Kudos!

I was so thrilled to see Hollis Mann back this past week, even if just for a little while, that I had to come searching for some Gibbs x Hollis interaction. This is lovely, all around. Tense and dramatic, but also warm and romantic, and your team dynamic (which we all love so dearly) is wonderfully portrayed. Thank you for a great read. I plan to read it many more times.
