Spatvark is not the only person to dislike this fic. I really liked the beginning, but after that it just became a soap opera.

Zell is kind of OOC in this. I can't even begin to wonder when this story fits into the FFVI storyline, and there are a lot of tense shifts.

Other than that, your writing is pretty good. There were only a few grammar mistakes that I noticed, and other than the tense shifts, it was well written.

The plot was...meh. There was too much drama. Aya seems Mary-sue-ish, and there was a lack of any real twists.

Anyway, I hope you don't take this as a flame or anything like that.

I think you captured the emotions of someone who's in love with their best friend realy well. I can't wait for book 2: I Thought You Promised Me Forever.
