Lovely story. So great in giving us Beth's thoughts about this scene that had me hooked on this show. You say "to be continued", but I guess you didn't. This is a really nice story, and you write so well.

Wow, I really like this shot of "Fever"; I always wondered how Beth had stopped Mick "at one point". Is there any chance for the promised 2nd part?

Good characterization, good plot. The overall chapter could have used some closer editing - I noticed several typos, and they really detract from the flow of the story. But, overall, a good job. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
