KVD chapter 1 . 4/23/2015 Really REALLY loved this huge adventure series. Your writing was brilliant, ideas amazing and you captured the tracys perfect. How you paires them all and developes their families was pure genius. I have been reading non stop for my (chores are so far behind lol) thank you for writing these loved every word. |
UnpredictablyRandomOne chapter 1 . 7/2/2014 This brought a tear to my eye. It made me happy to know the family is doing great and that the new generation is now involved in the family business. Quick question though. I was reading Baby's First Christmas and noticed Alan's youngest girl is named Grace but here it's a Ginny. Are there two separate daughters or is one a middle name? I might be missing something but that got me confused a bit. Once again, this was a very nice way to let us know what's going on with the Tracy's so thanks for posting this. Hope to read more on the new generation since I've already fallen in love with them. |
Fantasyqueen10 chapter 1 . 5/14/2014 Please, please turn this into a series! It's too good not to! |
Booksnake chapter 1 . 7/20/2012 It's over now. all over. over. it sounds so final. i just loved all of your tracy family series so much thank you for taking the time to write them. i enjoyed my journey with the Tracys, and you re-enstated my love for thunderbirds. when i was little i used to be crazy about them, i had the bed covers and all. now, more than 5 years since i put the thunderbirds away in my cuboard you have made me pull all that out again. thank you agaon and i look forward to reading more of your work. |
alamodie chapter 1 . 8/23/2011 Ok, so this is actually lie a review for the whole series. Because I absolutely loved the whole thing! I never reviewed any of the other ones because I was always so excited to read the next one in the series ;) But now I'm utterly downtrodden because there aren't anymore... Maybe a few oneshots here and there? Just random ones, don't even have to be relates. Pretty please? Like maybe centering around one or a few of the Tracy grandchildren. Because really, it's just too hard to have everyone in there at once. I absolutely love that you added a second generation piece! I still love the earlier ones, though, with the original Tracy's and their fun family dynamics. Anyways, I think I'll check into your other stories, just because I love your writing style so much. |
tukatarina chapter 1 . 5/18/2011 I finally thought it was time for me to submit a review. I found Virgil's story on late night Sunday, and once I figured that it wasn't the first of your series, I simply had to go and read every single one in order of publication. As an avid Thunderbird fan (of the series then the movie) I had to know the complete story of the Tracy family. So I have. And I have lost a lot of sleep and have done no homework or studied anything at all since Sunday night. (Thankfully I haven't had any quizes or tests, or else I'd be doomed.) You know why? Because you're stories are simply amazing! I always loved Alan and Virgil, but now I love everyone! I also loved how you went after Alan constantly. It made my day knowing you weren't afraid to bang him up a little, though I was waiting for a mortal stab wound or something of that nature :D I want to read more! But with finals in a week, I'm afraid I'll have to wait a little and restrain myself from getting lost hours upon hours reading this world you've created. Don't stop writing, you're too good. ~K |
Raina McCallen chapter 1 . 9/26/2010 I cannot give you enough praise for the stories that I just finished reading. The depth of detail that you put into your stories had me on the edge of my seat almost the entire time. It is safe to say that this is probably the best story that I have ever read! You are an AMAZING author! |
sammygirl1963 chapter 1 . 3/17/2009 This was awesome Ali. Wow, so many grandchildren to try and keep up with. Love that Jason and Elizabeth still seem close just like they were as youngsters. And wow, Jason is an astronaught. LOL-that Alan sure must have been a fast worker-four girls with Sammie being the oldest and then little Jeffy-gotta say I love that little tyke-he so had me giggling-streaking out of the room. Sammie has definitely made a name for herself hasn't she. An exceptional pilot and she led the fight in stopping a terrorist was-impressive. How heartbreakigthough to find out that Jeff had a heart attack and had to relinquish all of his dutis, but I guess he is getting up there in age-especially with John just fining out he is going to be a grandfather-wow! And you couldn't have ended better than havin Lucille and granpa Eppes watching over the family! |
Elsa J chapter 1 . 4/13/2008 The tracy grandchildren are lovely, any more and they will need a bigger island. Why does Penny never get a 'happy ever after'. Its too easy to kill her off. |
black4minister chapter 1 . 3/5/2008 I love your stories so much. I've read all of them together and I decided to review together at the end so this will probably be quiet a long review. I like the earliest stories the best but they're all brillent. I love the humour you put in it, like the way Alan played unintentional matchmaker to all the boys, expect Gordon. And the way they all married girls so like themselves. The suspense you keep up with the constant drama and yet put in the families "normal" life as well is great. And you do keep putting Alan in danger but you always get him out so its ok. Because I would love to see more by you I might suggest a story line. What do you think of a story of Alan's first rescue. He would no doubt do something irresponsible, though to help som one out and Jeff would go spare. Well just a sugestion. Keep writing! I love it! |
Purplehonor chapter 1 . 12/8/2007 Wonderful series! I loved the way you tied Numb3rs and the Thunderbirds together. I have one question - who is Don Eppes' wife? She never has a name and we don't ever learn anything about her... |
Esmerelda Diana Parker chapter 1 . 11/16/2007 and i thought my family was big... |
xForeverDazzledx chapter 1 . 11/2/2007 This was a great way to end the series. during the story before this I kept wondering how the grandchildren would be, so I enjoyed this. i'll try reading your new story, but i've never seen seaQuest, (actually i havn't even heard of it untill now). It's been great reading your stories! |
straywriting chapter 1 . 10/31/2007 You know it simply astounds me how much your writing has improved over the past few months. You went from someone I wanted to critique to being the one who should be, I would say critique me but almost anyone can do that (I'm not very good). I think you understand what I'm trying to get at. Just, wow, you're such an amazing writer now. This wasn't quite what I was expecting but at the same time what I was. I'm one for happy times and for some reason this seemed like—I can't think of how to describe it—a sort of happy angst if you get what I mean. It was a great read all the same and I enjoyed it. Which death was it that Sam1 threatened you about? Was it Penny’s? At first when I started reading I thought you killed off Jeff and when I read about the heart attack I didn't get that he survived it but when you wrote Jeff and Elizabeth talking that sort of took away that thinking (first I thought Jeff was another grandkid when I read it). I'm happy to see the return of Ian even if the whole age difference does creep me out a bit. I know it happens today and isn't that "out of the ordinary" but still. Happy to see some greatgrand kids in the future. The adventure keeps on through the ages. I kept on meaning to ask about Ana Nevada in my reviews for your last fic and weather or not she would make another “guest” appearance and I’m happy to see you obliged without me even having to ask. The plastic surgery part was pure her. Now all I would like to see if you continue the series is more on Emily’s mom and Julies stepdad, you never really cleared up Julie’s relation with him and what happened. Jeffy was really cute; I knew Alan would end up with a boy as his last. Honestly I think you should end the series here but then again I see Jeffy having the potential of giving my same effect as Alan angst, that stuff is so addicting. Second thought continue and give me some Jeffy angst when the kid gets older. Dang, that means Alan'll be older too. Oh well, you win some you lose some. There were so many other things I wanted to say that I forget now and will be kicking myself for not adding later but for now I think this is a good place to end it. Thunderbirds are go. !Potterwatch |
