No, seriously, it is. You have really mastered the one-shot, congratulations on this! It's such an awesome insight into Sev's mind, and his lost love. The italiscised bits were my favourite, I think, and the use of twilight is exceptionally pretty.

In short, I loved it, and you must keep up this spectacular work :).

I loved that. I loved how you showed another side to James, one that wasn't his usual self, yet still managed to keep him in character. I loved the imageries you used, what with the sunset and the swings and the hills. I loved everything about the story. Keep up the great work!

Oh God. Finally some good post-DH Snape/Lily fic! I adored the way you wrote this and how Snape's...unsatisfying wishes upon James ("Your head on a platter") were scattered throughout the story. And James' confrontation with Snape was fab: Snape's biting remarks and somewhatreformed!James, less of a bully but still knowing how to be a bastard and strike a nerve and full of his arrogance that I love about his character.

And Snape was tremendously tragic, as he should have been. I really enjoyed the brief flashback and such as well, and when they both saw Lily and James basically told Snape that he effed everything up and how he was originally jealous of him. Just...everything that I would want in a confrontation between those two happened.

The very last part with Lily's house no longer being there and the "twilight" motif worked very well in this, so that it wasn't overbearing but it made it clear to us that that was significant in symbolizing Snape and Lily's former friendship.

WOW, long rambling but...yeah...I REALLY enjoyed reading this and will for sure pimp this fic wherever I can. It's also going to my favorites! :D
