Okay, wow. So I've read twelve chapters in and this is my verdict.
The good:
Great plot. Honestly. It takes a lot to bring oneself to write about something like this and that's great!
I like that your grammar is good. I also like your expression so kudos on that.
You've written James in a way never seen - he's just so tired, and I can relate.
However, I feel that your portrayal of the characters is somewhat skewed. The way they act at times is very... strange, and the flow of the story is choppy at best. You also tend to mention OCs without really stating who they are before. Your style is a bit confusing. And Sirius as a gay character... The way James makes fun of him is not okay, and I think you need to make them address that. I understand that James is not all right, but whatever it is, he has crossed the line and needs to know it.
Even so, great job so far. I'm sure if you keep writing such issues will be ironed out!

I love the way that you show James as a person who can be hurt, rather than the invincible, cocky James that we see in almost every other Marauders fanfiction. If you can, please come back to this!

I think this story is amazing, and it makes me sad to think it probably won't be continued. It's been over four years, but I just started reading it yesterday. You're either not writing fanfiction anymore or really busy with work since you've probably already graduated. Anyways, if you see this, this is a great story that deserved an ending, but as I've said before, it is an amazing story. Hey, it's been a while. Like, a really, really long time. But I want to say I like "your" James. The James we see in the books is James at his best (a loving friend (Sirius's version)) and his worst (a jerkwad bully (Snape's version)). Your James is vulnerable.

If this story follows cannon, James will die in only five years. Oh no! I hope he works his issues out before then.
