This story hurt.

It hurt me deeply.

Unrequited love, no matter how temporary, is one of the saddest things imaginable. Especially, when once realized, one of the loves dies. That pain for Sasuke must have been extreme but I also think about Naruto's experience of being almost killed by your love twice through your own helplessness.

I'm not sure whether Kyuubi is making the right decision. But the sacrifice is not much if it's just his Sharingan (I kind of wish you made the consequence steeper, despite the pain I feel from this).

I do hope you are able to update sometime soon-ish. I do hope that Naruto and Sasuke are reunited again, however short that time together is.

This is a story of tragic lovers, whose trauma distracts themselves from the bond they have. I love and hate these stories, I can't help but fervently, masochistically read on. Thank you for blessing me with this fic.
