Aah! I really love this fanfic. All of the characters seem in character, and all the different scenarious are so amazing. I reacted to this fanfic in so many different ways! At one poing I. sqealing from the yaoi, and other parts Im fuming at what Doumekis done or crying over my poor childd Watanuki. Your story was the first fic I picked to read as my first XXXholic fan fic. I was not disappointed (until I realized there isn't any more chapters haha). I am very happy I got to read your story. I felt like I was watching an episode of the anime or even reading a page from the manga. The images formed in my mind and I felt everything fit closely to the original story. I enjoyed what you have written. I wish you would write more however I understand life gets in the way sometimes. Or muses come and go. So thank you for writing this masterpiece, even if it is not complete. I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for writing it. -

I'm re-reading this fic for the fourth time and the last time I checked it wasn't this long? Then I saw the last updated and it was 2015 OMG

Eeeeeeeee yes. Can i just say that i want to applaud you on this fic on a multitude of levels. The amount of thought youve put into crafting the conflict in this is fantastic. Youve made me understand everyones motivation and goals without turning anyone into the straight up "bad guy". Doumeki is definitely on my naughty list for now, but i cant say i dont understand why he tried to do what he did.

Im giving him points right off the bat cause he clearly wanted to do right by watanuki, wanted to take him on dates and have a proper relationship. But then the good general came into the picture. And like it was said, Doumeki's love for Watanuki got tangled up with his desire to protect him. He wanted to be the one to save Kimihiro. To be the anchor to stop the decay of his memories and to guard him from the spirits. And that all made him ignore the key component of a healthy relationship: thinking about what the other person wants. He REALLY seems to have convinced himself that Watanuki is only safe when hes with him.

Im still side eying Osusuki a bit. Because i dont know how he'll treat Kimihiro. But so far im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on account of not being human and probably not caring about human morality. Plus he genuinely needs Kimihiros services as a dream walker and seems invested in becoming his anchor in service of nurturing his power.

And bless Yuuko in all her glory for being the only person consistently caring only for Watanukis well being. I imagine she did or will soon have some strong words for Doumeki about how much he messed up.

And in the middle of it all is a fantastically written and portrayed Watanuki. Who, like any person his age, was just concerned about growing into an independent adult, and is offically fed up with everyone trying to make his decisions for him. Pretty much the only reason im ok with him going with Osusuki is at its his own choice now. Hes not being traded like a commodity for a wish. Hes saying,"Ok weird fox god guy. If having sex with you is what it takes to stop losing my memories and show my boyfriend im not a damsel in need of rescue then FINE ill do it."

Now all that remains is what happens next. Will we see Watanukis life in the land of gods, see how the no doubt upset Doumeki is doing? or will we time skip
